Here's a quick size comparison between Flint, Tinder, Cassy and Steel.
I guess this is a good time to talk a small bit about what these people are. All four characters above are part of the same species of people known collectively as the Malikyn. There are four races of Malikyn divided among the four compass regions of the Western Continents. The Northern Malikin (Tinder) are typically thicker in some way than the other races, indomitable and hardy as well. The Eastern Malikyn (Flint and Cassy) are the most widespread and have the greatest diversity in size and shape as the moderate climate allows for a greater variety. The defunct empire of the Western Malikyn (Steel) once housed many who were feathered and beaked before its collapse. Now most Western Malikyn are nomads, or have integrated with the East. There are also Southern Malikyn, who are scaled and lizardlike, among other things.
An interesting side note: A Malikin's heritage will effect how purely we can see their species. Flint and Cassandra come from the highest echelons of aristicracy and are therefore more purely cat-like in appearance than someone of a more meager background like Tinder, who has no clear species and is more of a dog/bear thing.
